This family did not want any separate rooms, nor any fixed furniture such as a sofa or a bed. They prefer sitting on the ground and living as if they are outside all the time.

We designed a house for them as a shell for flexibility. The kitchen and stairs with storage space underneath are the only fixed parts. The bath, table and even the aluminum railing shelves are movable. Upstairs the space is kept open, with just a dividing closet for clothes and the futons.
